What is the source of your courage? - Japanese

¥300

When the US Congress passed a bill giving the President carte blanche against terrorism right after the 911 incident, every Congress member voted for the bill except one. The bill became law which resulted in the bombing of Afganistan which in turn caused untold 'collateral damage' to many ordinary Afgani citizens.

The only Congress member to vote against the bill was Barbara Lee from California. What caused her to take such brave action? In this inspiring booklet you can read her answers to questions put to her by Japanese author Chihiro Ito of the Asahi Newspaper. Also included is background information on Costa Rica, a country that has a powerful Peace Constitution that stipulates peaceful diplomacy along with unarmed neutrality.
